CCC attends White House Conference
Staff and board members attend 40th Faith-Based & Community Intiative Conference in Dallas
President Bush's final Conference on Faith-Based and Community Intiatives was held on Friday, October 3 in Dallas, Texas. The conference focused on inspiring, encouraging, commending, and preparing faith-based organizations of all sizes in their work. Speakers included HUD Secretary Steve Preston, HHS Secretary Michael Leavitt, and many others.
CCC board vice president Nancy Coburn; Brad Carter, executive director; and Lori Thornton, office, grants and finance manager; attended the one day conference and its workshops.
